"Obviously the full-backs and the wingers have been throwing some great crosses into the box and I've managed to get my head on two of them really well.
"Obviously I have been out for a while. In the last couple of games I have played here I haven't been fully fit. But there were a lot of other injuries to Enner and Diafra and I was put in a little unexpectedly really. Now I am feeling really strong after playing the last three games. I was feeling good and was able to put myself about a bit more and that is why I was put the defenders under pressure on Sunday."
The squad appears to have so much strength in depth, so you've got to keep performing and keep scoring to keep your place?
AC: "We have got a lot more players in there. We have a big squad and a great squad to be involved in. We are all fighting for a place in the first XI and that makes the team a lot better."
AC celebrates scoring one of his two goals against Swansea
That's two games in a row where we have come from behind to win - proof of the spirit in the squad?
AC: "Yeah, obviously it is disappointing going 1-0 down to anybody, but we have shown real fight in the last two games to come back. We showed against Swansea again the fight and the strength we have got in the team to fight back once and it was a fantastic result."
We are in the top four after 15 games, which is no fluke. So how far can we go this season?
AC: "I think there is no limit. We can go all the way to the top. We have a great squad and I couldn't say we are going to give up now we are in the top three or four. We have got a great team and we can go all the way.
"I think it is the manager we have got and the way we are playing at the moment, the coaching is superb and we have a great team and the depth in the squad is fantastic, so I don't see us giving this up at all."
The No9 rises highest to score his second goal on Sunday
You have had three strike partners in the last two games - Mauro Zarate against West Bromwich Albion and then Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho against Swansea. How did you enjoy playing with Valencia and then Sakho?
AC: "Both of them are great players as they have shown from the start of the season. Both of them have got goals in them. Diafra has come off the bench and got one and he could have had another one potentially on another day. They are both great players and it is fantastic to see them fit again and both back on the pitch.
"Sakho has been a fantastic signing. The manager has brought in a lot of great signings. He is also capable of keeping everybody happy which is a hard thing, but he has managed it. Everyone is really happy."
Sakho might have been a great signing, but you didn't look too happy when he didn't cross the ball for your potential hat-trick goal!
AC: "I didn't hold back on what I thought when we got in the dressing room (laughs) but hopefully next time he will put me in. The important thing was the three points."
Has their form taken the pressure of you to lead the line and contribute to the majority of our goals?
AC: "It is always easier when you have got a big squad. You are not relying on one or two players. We have so many quality players who can come in and do a job and that is why the players who aren't playing are disappointed, the players in don't want to lose their places."
The striker has hailed the Hammers' strength in depth
What has Alex Song brought to the team?
AC: "Every game he has played he has been fantastic. He just slows the game to his tempo which is a benefit for us if he can slow the game down when it needs to be. At 1-0 down we weren't going gung-ho. He just held it together and passed it nicely for us to counter."
We go to Sunderland on Saturday, where you scored in a victory last season. Half your family are Sunderland fans, so can you expect a few boos from them?!
AC: "I think they will all be cheering me even if they are Sunderland fans! It is another tough game to go up there and we just have to carry on the run that we have got going on now and hopefully we will play as well as we did today and in the last couple of weeks and get the three points."
