West Ham United would like to update fans on an issue with the Club's Official Technical Supplier adidas that may affect some supporters' plans for Christmas.
adidas informed the Club on Thursday that its major junior order for the Christmas period will not be delivered due to stock supply issues. This disappointing news means that the Club will not be receiving any further children's replica kits this season and will therefore be out of stock in most junior sizes in the run-up to Christmas.
In a statement, adidas said: "Unfortunately due to stock supply issues we have been unable to provide the originally agreed quantities of the new West Ham United Matchwear in time for Christmas. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to fans. We are confident that alternative adidas West Ham United clothing range can be found currently in stores."
The Club are understandably frustrated at this development and appreciate it is likely to disappoint many of the young fans that were hoping for a new kit this Christmas. Therefore, the Board have announced a 25% discount on all adidas junior trainingwear with immediate effect as a way of compensating anyone that has been affected.
