West Ham United goalkeeper Sam Howes has been called up for England U18s' International Friendly with the Netherlands next month.
Howes will be part of the squad for the fixture, which will be played at Bury's The JD Stadium, Bury FC on Friday 5 September 2014 at 7.30pm.
The Hammers stopper is one of 15 members of the England selection to have won the UEFA European U17 Championship earlier this summer.
Alongside his success at international level, Howes also made his first-team bow for West Ham recently, turning out against Sydney FC during the Football United Tour to New Zealand.
With no UEFA or FIFA competitions for the U18 side, the Young Lions will have a number of friendly fixtures during the forthcoming campaign.
Tickets for the match cost just £3 for Adults and £1.50 for U16s and are available now via Bury FC on 0871 221 1885 (option 3) or by e-mailing [email protected]
Meanwhile, Jahmal Hector-Ingram was a second half tournament as England U17s got their FA International Tournament campaign up and running with a 1-1 draw against Czech Republic on Wednesday.
Academy forward Hector-Ingram was introduced in the 63rd minute, replacing Young Lions goalscorer Kaylen Hinds.
However, nine minutes from the end the visitors levelled through Jiri Miker to force a share of the spoils. England's campaign continues on Friday when they take on Portugal.
