Hammers take on the Ice Bucket

One particular charity awareness craze has been taking social media by storm in the last couple of weeks, and several Hammers - including Vice-Chairman Karren Brady - got in on the act by taking part in their Ice Bucket Challenges.

Ravel Morrison got the ball rolling by nominating Carlton Cole and his manager Sam Allardyce after having ice water dumped over his head - and both accepted the challenge.

We were at Chadwell Heath to capture the scenes as first Big Sam fronted up to endure his cold shower, then Cole. Big Sam nominated the Joint-Chairman's son Jack Sullivan, and further nominations followed for Mark Noble, Neil McDonald and Stewart Downing.

Noble nominated Vice-Chairman Karren Brady and she took on the challenge on Wednesday. You can watch the video below!

The challenge, which originated in the United States to raise awareness for ALS - the disease known as Motor Neurone Disease in the UK - with participants pledging money to charity after completing their challenge.
