Champion fundraiser Jonjo Heuerman is organising an abseiling event down the Bobby Moore Stand at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday 26 April - and you can join him!
The 12-year-old, who has raised more than £150,000 for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK, is looking forward to the latest in his long line of charity escapades.
Following on from his successful 50-mile Boot it for Bobby walk from Southend United to West Ham United in February, Heuerman has organised the abseil from the top of the stand named in honour of England's greatest captain.
"The stand has been named after the late great Bobby Moore and stands 200ft high," said Heuerman, who is unfortunately too young to take part in the abseil himself, as it is only open to people aged 18 and over. "Those taking part will be able to enjoy spectacular views across London from the roof area, while friends and family are welcome to come along to spectate."
A non-refundable registration fee of £10 is payable to secure a place.Participants must commit to raising £350 for the Bobby Moore Fund in order to take part.
Medical clearance may be required for those taking part.
