Classic match

West Ham United 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur
Barclays Premier League
25 September 2010

The Hammers picked up their first win of the season thanks to Frederic Piquionne's headed goal against local rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

In a game which featured 26 shots on target it was only the Frenchman who found the back of the net, heading home from Mark Noble's corner.

The home side had Rob Green to thank for keeping their visitors at bay with a string of fine saves.

There wasn't much else to celebrate for the rest of this season though as Avram Grant's side were relegated after finishing bottom of the league.
