Steve Potts' West Ham United youngsters scored a fine 2-1 Barclays U18 Premier League win at West Bromwich Albion.
Kieran Bywater's late free-kick proved decisive after the Baggies had equalised Djair Parfitt-Williams' first-half opener, lifting West Ham to their second successive victory.
Having previously defeated Manchester United and Liverpool on home soil, Potts' team picked up their maiden away success of 2013/14 with another promising performance.
Livewire attacker Parfitt-Williams opened the scoring with a curling shot into the corner seven minutes before half-time, giving West Ham a deserved lead at the break.
West Brom levelled matters after half-time, but the Hammers were not to be denied. Bywater had already been denied by one outstanding save from the home goalkeeper before settling matters in added-time when his set piece deflected off the wall and into the net.
The U18s return to action at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 12 October, with kick-off at Hotspur Way at 12noon.
