Season in Seconds: Winston Reid

In the final instalment in our popular Season in Seconds series on West Ham TV, Hammer of the Year Winston Reid looks back on an outstanding 2012/13 campaign.

The West Ham United defender not only scooped the Club's top award, but was also named Players' Player of the Year and made captain of New Zealand. He also started 36 of the Hammers' 38 Barclays Premier League fixtures - more than any other outfield player.

Naturally, Reid is proud of his achievements over the past 12 months.

How would you sum up the 2012/13 season?

WR - "I think it's been really good. It's our first season back in the Barclays Premier League, so I think really good sums it up!"

What was your highlight of the 2012/13 season?

WR - "Obviously, game-wise, there have been some good games that we've had but if you take the overall picture I'd say generally the whole season really."

What was the funniest moment of the 2012/13 season?

WR - "When Youssouf Mulumbu kicked the ball at Gary O'Neil [and was sent-off in the home win over West Bromwich Albion] that was pretty funny."
