72 mins - GOAL! Vaz Te feeds the ball inside to Whitehead and the youngster has the confidence to bring it forward to the edge of the box. He draws a defender before clipping a perfect ball to the far post. McCallum is there and he rises high before powering a header down inside the upright. Superb play from the young Hammers.

67 mins - Kilduff involved again! Danny Murphy's corner finds the No31's head and his powerful effort is blocked by Rat with his own head. Well done Roland!

66 mins - Turner gets down the right and floats in a cross from the edge of the penalty area. Kilduff rises but he cannot quite reach the ball with his head. Moments later, he is in with his feet until a sliding challenge from Tomkins concedes a corner.

62 mins - GOAL! West Ham reinstate their two-goal advantage with a trademark strike from Matt Taylor. The No14 looks up from 25 yards and sends a low shot past Burns' left hand and into the bottom corner of the net. Nice finish from the experienced midfielder.

61 mins - Cork made loads of changes at the break too, with Burns, Dunleavy and Danny Murphy being the only players to stay on. Their team is now: Burns, J.Kavanagh, Dunleavy, E.Murphy, D.Murphy, Turner, Morrissey, O'Connell, Horgan, D.Kavanagh, Kilduff.

56 mins - A chance for Cork substitute Daryl Kavanagh from long-range, which Adrian deals with low to his left. A comfortable first save in a West Ham shirt for the Spaniard. Moments later, he concedes a corner, but that comes to nothing.

55 mins - New boy Whitehead has impressed in his opening ten minutes, losing his marker twice with neat footwork. The second piece of skill opens a chance for McCallum, whose acrobatic scissor kick flies over the bar. He was offside, though, was the striker.

51 mins - West Ham have made ten changes at the break, with only Dan Potts remaining on the pitch. The Hammers line-up is: Adrian, Potts, Tomkins, Reid, Rat, Noble, Morrison, Whitehead, Vaz Te, Taylor, McCallum.

47 mins - Noble's penalty is saved! The No16 fires his spot-kick low to Burns' right and the goalkeeper goes down and pushes the ball away. Noble skips in frustration. It's been a long time since he's missed a penalty.

43 mins - Cork are giving this a go now and they've got a bit of confidence from that goal. Kenny gets forward down the left, ignores the overlapping run of Dunleavy and cuts onto his right foot. The curler is a yard too high.

38 mins - GOAL! Cork are back in it through their best player so far, Rundle. The left winger sees his initial left-foot shot blocked by Collins. He picks up the rebound and cuts inside two defenders onto his right foot before shooting powerfully past Jaaskelainen inside the left-hand post. Good goal.

36 mins - Cork win a corner as Rundle's cross hits Demel and goes behind. Maiga volleys the corner clear at the near post.

30 mins - Close! Maiga collects after a Cole interception. Cole and Collison get up in support and scream for the ball. Maiga ignores the shouts, cuts onto his left foot and sends a strong shot that dips and kisses the crossbar on its way over.

25 mins - Good work down the left from Rundle, who cuts inside Demel and then threads the ball across the face of the 18-yard box for opposite winger Kenny. He takes a touch and tests Jaaskelainen with a rising shot that the Finn grabs in front of his face.

21 mins - Real chance for Cork. Furlong is again the man involved, latching onto a through ball over Collins and running towards the box. Demel tracks back and forces him inside before Bramble covers to make the block. That shot was on target.

18 mins - GOAL! Maiga pressures and Diarra wins the ball from Browne. He finds Nolan, who looks up and slides a perfect pass through the middle of the defence for Cole, who prods a first-time finish past the on-rushing Burns. Cute finish and another goal for West Ham.

16 mins - Whatever Furlong can do... Collison is on the end of Demel's cut-back, but the No10 leans back and screws his shot miles into the air. The ball lands behind the goal. Collison pulls up his shorts in frustration. That's a good chance.

15 mins - Furlong has a go for Cork from 25 yards. The shot goes at least 15 yards wide. Ironic cheers from the Hammers fans behind the goal.

14 mins - So nearly Manchester United all over again. Cole delivers from the left and Collins flicks on, but Burns does what David De Gea could not and parries the ball aside for a corner. Cole takes and Diarra is there again, but this time his thumping header from ten yards flies just over. The big midfielder looks dominant in there.

13 mins - Potts puts the ball down the left for Maiga to chase. He holds off Buckley and goes down under the centre-back's challenge. Cole to deliver...

12 mins - Cork have their first real attack as Rundle gets free into space down the left wing. His cross to the near post is hacked clear by Collins on the stretch. The ball goes back to Rundle, but the chance is lost.

10 mins - Cheers from the crowd as Collins launches the ball out of the stadium with a clearance. Safety first from the big Welshman. He was obviously watching the Lions closely yesterday! Kicking for touch!

7 mins - Cork have hardly had a kick so far. West Ham win a free-kick on the left and this time Jarvis takes the set piece. Maiga is lurking on the edge of the six-yard box, but the ball doesn't reach him as a home defender clears. Moments later, Jarvis crosses again and Burns holds on. Lively start from the No7. He put in more than 350 crosses last season and has picked up where he left off!

5 mins - GOAL! Diarra is a giant of a man and nobody picks him up from Cole's left-wing corner. The Frenchman runs to the near post, rises and nods the ball powerfully down inside the upright to put West Ham in front. Great start for West Ham!

4 mins - Jarvis again. The winger runs inside and sees his shot blocked, but only as far as Collison, whose first-time left-foot ping is pushed aside by Burns for a corner. Good strike. Good save.

2 mins - West Ham attack down the left and Jarvis runs at his man. Two defenders converge on the winger, who tries a trick and then concedes a goal kick when the ball ricochets back off his shin.

6pm - We're off and running here at Turner's Cross. Cork get us underway in their change kit of white shirts and shorts and green socks. There are LOADS of West Ham fans here as 'Bubbles' sounds out across the stadium.

5.50pm - The atmopshere is building nicely here in Cork. The sun is shining brightly and the two teams have headed back to their respective dressing rooms. With all the players in there, it is a bit cramped!

Good afternoon and welcome to a sun-drenched Republic of Ireland as West Ham United begin their 2013/14 pre-season schedule against League of Ireland Premier Division side Cork City at Turner's Cross. It is a scorching

The Hammers have been in Ireland since Tuesday, enjoying a productive pre-season training camp at the Fota Island Resort a short distance outside the city of Cork. West Ham have trained at the Resort, while also paying a visit to University College Cork's Mardyke Arena.

Cork City, who compete in the League of Ireland Premier Division, played a league match as recently as Friday evening, when they played host to Sligo Rovers. Cork won 3-1 against the reigning league champions, with two goals from Daryl Horgan and one from debutant Ciaran Kilduff. The two-times League of Ireland champions finished sixth in the standings in 2012.

West Ham have visited Cork just once before in their history - in the week following their Division Two title win in May 1958. The Hammers, who had edged out Evergreen United 3-2 the previous day in Dublin, were defeated 4-2 at the Mardyke. John Dick and John Bond scored West Ham's goals in Cork, while Dixie Hale (two), Donie Wallace and Donal Leahy were on target for the home side. In 1959, Evergreen United became Cork Celtic, the club later represented by George Best and Geoff Hurst.

Team news-wise, the Hammers have 22 players here in Ireland, with only Joey O'Brien unavailable as he manages his pre-season schedule due to previous knee injuries. The remaining 21 will all play a part, with Dan Potts to play the full 90 minutes after his summer appearance at the FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Turkey last month.

Manager Sam Allardyce is to hand first appearances to new boys Adrian, Razvan Rat and Danny Whitehead, while Titus Bramble will also feature as he continues to work on his fitness with the Hammers. West Ham will be without record signing Andy Carroll, who has remained in England for treatment to a heal injury, while Northern Irish full-back George McCartney (knee) has also stayed behind at Chadwell Heath.

Formed in 1984, Cork City won the League of Ireland title in 1993 and 2005. After some financial difficulties in the late 2000s, the Rebel Army were relegated to the First Division, but returned to the Premier Division as champions on the final day of the 2011 season. The club is owned by its supporters through a supporters' trust - the Friends of the Rebel Army Society and finished sixth in the Premier Division in 2012.
