Kids can play at The Boleyn!

Hammers legend George Parris is once again staging his annual football event for youngsters at the Boleyn Ground at the end of the season.

Details have been confirmed for the eighth year of the popular 7-a-side mini-soccer tournaments, which always prove popular with supporters.

The tournaments will be held on Saturday 15 June and there will be separate tournaments for U7s, U8s, U9s, U10s, U11s, U12s, U13s, U14s and U15s.

This is truly a great experience for kids. Participants are sure to have a day to remember and the teams will line-up in the tunnel and have their names announced over the stadium PA system as they walk onto the pitch.

A visit to the dressing rooms is all part of the day and each player will receive a signed certificate from George to commemorate the visit. There are trophies for the winners/runners-up in the older age groups and medals for all participants in the U7s and U8s friendly festivals.

Once again the event will be used to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, via raffles. So far these events have raised over £20,000 for this world-famous charity.

Clubs interested in participating should contact tournament organiser Jeff Garner via e-mail at [email protected] or mobile 07941 877570.
