The first day of December marks the unveiling of West Ham United's Christmas initiative Like My Dreams.
Like My Dreams aims to reward deserving Hammers fans by giving them an experience this Christmas that they will be able to treasure forever.
The Club received many applicants for experiences ranging from the chance to be a Coach for the Day to having Christmas presents delivered to your house by your favourite West Ham players.
Today, 16-year-old Liam Webster becomes the first person to have his 'Like My Dreams' experience shared with fellow Hammers after he was invited to the Club's Chadwell Heath training ground to be Coach for the Day.
Liam, who was nominated by family friend Sally Sandy, was diagnosed with Leukaemia aged just three and despite eventually being given the all-clear has suffered with liver disease and an enlarged spleen as a result of the chemotherapy.
A charming and welcoming young man, Liam arrived at Chadwell Heath just before 9.30am on Tuesday 19 November where he was presented with his official West Ham United adidas training gear, complete with his initials.
After a quick change, Liam enjoyed breakfast in the canteen surrounded by first team players and staff before he received the same slideshow presentation as shown to the players by assistant manager Neil McDonald.
He then moved out to the training pitch to link-up with first team coach Ian Hendon, who explained to the on-looking Liam about the training session which was taking place just yards in front of his face.
Our 'Like My Dreams' nominee also met goalkeeping coach Martyn Margetson before being chaperoned into the indoor pitch to meet and take photos with his heroes.
A lifelong West Ham fan, Liam was delighted to be able to receive such a treat and was grateful to both his nominator and the Club for the opportunity.
He told West Ham TV: "A friend of the family applied for me and they said that I could really use a treat because I've been having a hard time with medical problems and things like that so they nominated me for 'Like My Dreams'.
"It's a lovely thing that they've done for me and I've absolutely loved it. It's amazing what goes on behind the scenes, it's crazy. They're all very hard working lads."
Liam rounded off his day with lunch in the canteen before collecting autographs and photos with his favourite West Ham players.
Liam's 'Like My Dreams' experience is the first in a series of videos which will be aired throughout December and shared via YouTube and on West Ham TV.
