Cockney Rejects behind the Hammers

Ultimate Hammers fans The Cockney Rejects are very much looking forward to a visit to Wembley and believe West Ham will get the right results.

West Ham TV caught up with brothers singer Geoff and guitarist Mickey before West Ham's Play-Off semi-final second leg against Cardiff. Both were in high spirits as the Hammers at Wembley looms on the horizon.

"We always make it difficult for ourselves but I think we will do it. The team is peaking now; we are in great shape and great form. There seem to be no nerves at all which is key in making sure you play to the best of your ability."

The brothers are life-long West Ham fans and have seen the Hammers play at Wembley before. They remember their times there as very special and hope that the modern Wembley still has that special feeling about it.

Geoff said, "I've seen West Ham at Wembley five times and it's a very special place. Hopefully the new Wembley has the same atmosphere as the old one which will make for a very special day for all us Hammers."

The band have just realised a film entitled 'East End Babylon' and are due to go on a tour of America at the end of the May. However, their American fans have West ham to blame for the delay in the Rejects making it across the Atlantic.

"We pushed our America tour dates back for the final! It's been 31 years since West Ham were at Wembley so America can wait I think! Come On You Irons!"
