Goalkeeper Peter Kurucz has had his contract with West Ham United terminated by mutual consent with immediate effect.
The 23-year-old departs having made one first-team appearance for the Hammers, appearing as a second-half substitute in the 4-0 home Premier League defeat by Manchester United on 5 December 2009.
The former Hungary international joined West Ham in February 2009, initially on loan, from Ujpest FC. A regular in the reserves, Kurucz suffered a serious knee injury at the start of the 2010/11 campaign that ruled him out for the entire season.
The gloveman returned to action this season and was loaned to npower League One club Rochdale in January 2012, making eleven league appearances before an injury ended his season at the end of February.
West Ham United would like to thank Peter for his efforts and wish him well in his future career.
