West Ham United can confirm the npower Championship home match against Watford has been moved back 24 hours to Wednesday 7 March.

The match at the Boleyn Ground will kick-off at 7.45pm. It was originally due to be played on Tuesday 6 March.

The Watford fixture change has been made as a result of the Cardiff City away match from the previous weekend being selected for live broadcast on BBC television at 1pm on Sunday 4 March.

Sam Allardyce's men enjoyed their best win of the season away to Watford back on Tuesday 16 August, with James Tomkins, Joey O'Brien, Carlton Cole and Scott Parker scoring in a 4-0 victory at Vicarage Road.
