West Ham United can confirm that today's npower Championship fixture at Peterborough United has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The decision was taken following a pitch inspection at 8am on Saturday morning.
Despite the pitch being covered to protect it from the snow and sub-zero temperatures over the past few days, as well as the efforts of hundreds of volunteers who cleared the playing area, the surface was deemed unfit for use after temperatures of -13 overnight on Friday.
A new date for the fixture will be announced as soon as possible, while ticket details will also be confirmed as soon as they are available.
