The voting for the final SBOBET Player of the Month award for 2012 is now open.
Kevin Nolan has dominated the voting so far this season after picking up the award for August, September and October, with only Jussi Jaaskelainen denying him a clean sweep after winning in November.
The West Ham goalkeeper's performances in December earn him another nomination this time around, where he is joined by defenders James Collins, Winston Reid and Joey O'Brien. Gary O'Neil's successful return to the side sees him join the list, with the in-form Carlton Cole completing the nominees.
December got off to a memorable start as goals from Cole, Momo Diame and Modibo Maiga secured a 3-1 win against European champions Chelsea. The Hammers were then unlucky to lose by the odd goal in five to Liverpool after Mark Noble's penalty and a Steven Gerrard own goal had given them a 2-1 half-time lead.
Next up was a tricky-looking trip to high-flying West Bromwich Albion, but a brilliant defensive display ensured that the Hammers left the West Midlands with a point. Everton then edged a 2-1 win at the Boleyn Ground after Carlton Cole had given West Ham the lead before he was controversially sent off.
The month and 2012 was then wrapped up with Saturday's game at Reading.
