Joey O'Brien has been selected for the Republic of Ireland squad for the forthcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan.
The West Ham United player will travel to Astana for Ireland's opening qualifying match on Friday 7 September, while he will also be involved in the friendly international with Oman at Fulham's Craven Cottage on Tuesday 11 September.
O'Brien made his return to international football after a five-year absence earlier this month when he earned his fourth senior cap in the goalless friendly draw in Serbia.
