93 mins - Into the final minute. The home fans burst into a chorus of 'Bubbles'. Hull could even steal a late equaliser, but Reid makes a vital block and Demel clears upfield.

92 mins - West Ham have no reason to be afraid of a trip to Cardiff. They won their 2-0 on 4 March, of course.

91 mins - Into three added minutes. Down at St Mary's the game is over. Southampton celebrate. Let's hope we're doing the same in three weeks.

90 mins - West Ham have ridden the Hull storm out and are back on top. Baldock forces a corner as we go into added time. Noble delivers but Mannone punches clear.

89 mins - Match Sponsors Ricoh have named Carlton Cole their Man of the Match. Fair enough in my book. It's Conga time in front of the East Stand. It's almost certain to be Cardiff now as Birmingham are 2-0 up against Reading.

87 mins - O'Neil shoots low from a lay-off but is felled by Evans as he gets the effort away. The referee does not initially stop the game and let the physio on. Eventually, the matters are taken into their own hands and the physio races on. I think the No32 will be OK. Big Sam is not happy. Mannone saved the low shot, incidentally.

85 mins - Garcia heads superbly from a deep cross. He gets up and wheels away in celebration as the Hull fans celebrate wildly. Just one problem - he is flagged offside.

84 mins - The speedy Stewart gets down the right. Demel comes across and the No7 crosses or shoots - I don't know which - and the ball flies across the face of goal and out for a throw-in.

83 mins - Big Sam won't want to end with anything other than a victory. Hull are finishing strongly, though, as McKenna flashes a shot wide from 22 yards. West Ham need to maintain their work-rate in the final ten minutes.

81 mins - GOAL! Horror show from Demel and Green. The cross comes over from the right and Demel is on his own. For some reason, he heads up into the air and Evans outjumps Green to head in from five yards.

80 mins - If Birmingham concede an equaliser, they'd finish sixth. They currently lead champions Reading 1-0 at St Andrews.

78 mins - Oooh! O'Neil latches on to a high clearance and beats his man with one touch before smashing the bouncing ball goalwards. Mannone acrobatically tips the ball over. The corner is deep and cleared.

77 mins - Middlesbrough are out of it now as they are losing at Watford. Back here, Irishman Brady shoots with his left foot, but drags it wide. Hull showing good spirit and attitude here.

75 mins - Hull win a corner as McCartney stabs the ball behind. It's taken short and Chester forces Green to tip over from his rasping shot on the turn. The second corner is also won by Chester, but his header is deflected wide. Corner No3 is too strong.

74 mins - You'd be loving this weather if you were a fish. Seriously chucking it down now. Maynard is fouled, but Taylor's free-kick is too deep and goes out for a goal kick. Cairney is replaced by Robbie Brady. Nolan is also going off, to loud applause, with George McCartney coming on. Taylor into midfield.

72 mins - And now he's sitting down again... Nolan hasn't missed a second through injury this season and he won't want to start now.

71 mins - Nolan is back on. I'm not sure for long though as Collison is getting ready to come on.

70 mins - After a pit stop, Nolan makes his way to the touchline. He is a bit unit and looks like he'll be OK to continue. We shall see though. He is not back on yet.

68 mins - Maynard battles with Chester for a loose ball but the striker looses out. Hull break and Evans gets through on goal. Green makes a fantastic save, but Nolan is hurt as he slides in to try to make a last-ditch tackle. West Ham's goal remains intact, but at what cost? The physio is on.

66 mins - Demel buccaneers down the righyt wing and beats one man as he holds a second off. Loud cheers even though he runs the ball out for a throw. Both sets of fans are making plenty of din. Good stuff. Hull, of course, will pack up for their holidays at the final whistle.

64 mins - The fans are singing 'We're going to Wembley'. If we are, we're going to need to beat Cardiff over two legs, because they now lead 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

63 mins - Tomkins gets a bang on the head from Garcia. He needs the physio on. Meanwhile, Coventry have equalised... Not really. Southampton have scored a fourth. Lallana again.

62 mins - Our old pal Jos Hooiveld scored Southampton's third.

60 mins - Demel's cross takes a deflection and goes through to O'Neil, but he cannot control his volley, which floats over. A second change from Big Sam, with Maynard on for Vaz Te.

59 mins - Southampton are 3-0 up. Cardiff have equalised at Crystal Palace. You'll need £6 for the Severn Bridge on Thursday evening...

58 mins - Taylor curls it over and Cooper does superbly to head clear from inside his own six-yard box.

57 mins - There will be so many 'If onlys...' after this game. Taylor drives a cross against Rosenior for a corner. Noble takes and the impressive Chester heads clear for another corner under pressure from Tomkins.

55 mins - Hull actually attack. Rosenior overlaps and crosses, but the ball flicks off Reid and safely into the arms of the diving Green. The Hammers No1 must be a bit bored, to be honest. He hasn't had a save to make.

53 mins - The attendance is exactly 35,000.

52 mins - Vaz Te wants a penalty as he latches on to the ball after Baldock's dummy and goes down under a challenge from Dawson. Nothing given and Dawson waggles his hand at the winger as if to say 'No mate'.

51 mins - Nolan is booked for fouling Rosenior, Meanwhile, Cole is replaced by Sam Baldock. That must be with a view to Thursday, much as it pains me to type that.

49 mins - GOAL! Cole! The No9 doubles his tally with a peach of a goal. Lansbury's cross just eludes Cooper and Cole controls on his chest before volleying past Mannone from eight yards. Great touch, perfect finish.

47 mins - Lansbury is pulled back inside the centre circle. The free-kick is taken quickly and the Hammers resume their attacking of the Hull goal. Whatever happens, another win can only be good for confidence.

46 mins - No changes from the Hammers at the break as they kick-off shooting towards the Bobby Moore Stand. If the scores stay as they are, Big Sam may be tempted to make a few changes with Thursday's Play-Off semi-final first leg in mind. Noble shoots wide from 30 yards.

47 mins - Applause for the home side as the half-time whistle is blown. Automatic promotion looks unlikely, but West Ham are at least keeping up their end of the bargain. Southampton lead 2-0.

45 mins - Chester heads another Taylor cross clear. He has had a busy half, has the Hull No5. West Ham work the throw back to Noble, who cuts inside on his right foot but slices his shot well wide. One added minute to be played...

43 mins - Former Hammers player Richard Garcia shoots from 30 yards. Well wide. It is bucketing it down with rain. The pitch is nice and slick for passing the ball around and West Ham are taking advantage.

42 mins - Taylor's free-kick from halfway is flicked on by Cole, but too far for Demel. Goal kick. Hull have not had much of a look in since the goal. They have nothing to play for and it looks like it.

39 mins - Lansbury wins another corner after Nolan's header down is scrambled away. Taylor crosses and the ball is cleared to Noble, whose shot is blocked. The ball is hooked back in by Vaz Te, but Hull survive.

38 mins - Confidence suddenly oozing through the hosts. Cole collects a pass from Noble, spins and releases Vaz Te. His touch takes him a little wide and he can only screw his left-foot shot across the face of goal.

36 mins - GOAL! Cole scores! Taylor's corner is wicked and dipping and has plenty of pace on it. Cole stoops and plants a header down inside the far post. The defender on the line should maybe do better.

35 mins - Closer still as Taylor's dipping cross hits the crossbar! The ball bounces down and hits Dawson and goes behind. The first corner is cleared behind for another corner. Hull think it should be a goal kick.

34 mins - Quality. Tomkins sweeps the ball out wide left for O'Neil. With two touches, he controls and releases Taylor. His low cross is somehow scrambled away by Mannone.

33 mins - Hull have only let in 42 goals in 45 games and you can see why. They are hard-working and resolute in defence.

30 mins - Chances at both ends. First, Cole is crowded out and King breaks. He should go himself but instead crosses. Reid gets a foot in. West Ham break and Nolan gets on to a pass from Vaz Te and wins a corner. Noble takes it but Hull stand firm again. King had a great chance there, I have no idea why he didn't go on himself and shoot.

29 mins - Fryatt is a man in form for Hull. He gets goal-side of Reid but is on the right edge of the box. He shoots first-time but drags the effort well wide and the ball rolls out for a throw on the far side.

28 mins - I know it's a bit negative, but it seems sensible to see how the other Play-Off contenders are getting on. At present, the Hammers would be travelling to Cardiff on Thursday night.

27 mins - Another gilt-edged chance missed. Lansbury gets free inside the box and has time and space to shoot. He slides as he shoots, but the ball flies miles over. He was only about 12 yards out.

24 mins - The atmosphere has quietened a little as news from Southampton filters through, West Ham keep pressing through as Chester concedes another corner. Tomkins wins the header but Cole cannot convert. Demel crosses behind everybody before Taylor gets the ball in from the left. Rosenior heads clear.

23 mins - Lansbury crosses deep for Cole, but Cooper flicks the ball out for a corner with his head. Taylor whips it in towards Cole, but Chester heads out for another corner. Noble to take. Tomkins is whistled for a push at the far post.

22 mins - Strange passage of play. Reid, Green and Tomkins almost get themselves in a muddle before Taylor belts the ball forward. Cole challenges Chester and beats the centre-back to the ball. He just keeps it in, but the cross is in front of Vaz Te.

20 mins - As the rain continues to fall, Rosenior cuts inside on his left foot, but leans backwards as his left-foot shot curls high and wide of the far post.

18 mins - West Ham have a corner. Reid wins the ball back and finds Nolan. He chips forward for Cole, whose header finds Vaz Te. The No12 gets to the byline, but it is cut out. Noble's delivery is too strong. Meanwhile, Southampton are 2-0 up...

16 mins - Bad news, I am afraid. Southampton have taken the lead against Coventry City. Adam Lallana is the man who has hit the target.

15 mins - The rain is falling steadily here at the Boleyn. It really is cold and miserable. West Ham attack and Taylor collects a loose ball and fires it wide right for Demel. His high cross is caught by Mannone. Great catch by the Hull keeper, that. He must have been nine or ten feet up.

13 mins - No goals anywhere in the Championship so far. Remember, all 24 clubs kicked-off at 12.30pm.

10 mins - Cole wins another header and the ball drops to Lansbury. He cuts on to his right foot and finds Cole again, but the No9 is crowded out. Hull clear their lines and Reid wins a powerful header to Nolan. He is in space, but elects to shoot from 35 yards and the ball flies well wide.

9 mins - The Southampton game is on the TV at the back of the Press Box. Apparently Coventry are holding their own so far. Back here, Cole flicks on Green's clearance, but Rosenior is there to nod back to Mannone.

7 mins - Fair play to the Hammers, they are playing well so far. Hull have hardly had a kick. Taylor is tackled and Nolan slides in. It looks like a clean tackle, but the referee blows for a foul. Hull attack but a deflected pass falls to Taylor, who clears up the line and Rosenior concedes a throw.

6 mins - West Ham have started on the front foot. At the end of the day, they need goals as they cannot rely on Coventry winning. Vaz Te crosses again, but Liam Cooper clears on the half-volley.

4 mins - West Ham have missed an absolute sitter. Noble and Lansbury combine before the latter crosses and Vaz Te is completely unmarked six yards out. He heads down but a foot wide of the post. That should have been a goal.

3 mins - Reid gets a bang in the face and needs the physio on.

2 mins - King crosses dangerously from the Hull right and Demel does superbly to head clear under pressure. The Hammers break and Lansbury beats one, ignores his forwards and then over-runs the ball on the edge of the Tigers box. Rosenior cleans up.

1 min - No goals in the opening 60 seconds...

12.30pm - The game starts and Hull kick the ball wide right and straight into touch!

12.29pm - We're nearly ready to go. Hull will kick-off... We're just waiting for the OK from the TV producer on the touchline!

12.26pm - Here come the two teams. The atmosphere is brilliant, I have to say. Over to my left, Hammerhead is giving it some in front of the Hull fans! He has got some proper dance moves.

12.16pm - For what we hope is going to be the final time this season, the players go through their last few sprints on the touchline with fitness coach Eamon Swift. Before they go off, Mark Noble and James Tomkins are going to receive their awards for being named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year. 12.12pm - Let's hope Hull's shooting is as bad as their goalkeeper coach's! He tries to warm-up Vito Mannone but instead fires a shot miles wide of the target and into the crowd!

12.10pm - I will keep you updated with proceedings at St Mary's, even though I'm sure the majority of you will be flicking channels between the two games. One advantage for West Ham is the absence of Hull's attacking midfielder Robert Koren. The Slovenia international is a vital cog in the Tigers' wheel and will surely be missed by the visitors.

11.55am - Here come the Hammers! The home side trot out of the tunnel to a decent round of applause from the fans who have taken their seats. It is a proper murky day here in east London. There is a bit of drizzle in the air and the skies above are a white-grey colour. Sunshine does not look to be on the menu.

11.35am - The team news is in! Just one change for West Ham United, with Henri Lansbury replacing Jack Collison in midfield. George McCartney and Nicky Maynard return to action on the bench.

Good morning and welcome to a wet Boleyn Ground for today's crucial, vital, mouth-watering npower Championship fixture between West Ham United and Hull City.

So, after nine months and 45 matches, it has come down to 90 minutes. West Ham need to win and hope Southampton slip up at home to Coventry City and they will be back in the Premier League. The equation is fairly simple. If the Hammers win and Saints lose, Sam Allardyce's side go up. If Southampton record a score draw, West Ham need to win by four goals to leapfrog Nigel Adkins' team. If Saints draw 0-0, West Ham need to win 3-0 to go up.

The Sky Sports cameras are here to record what could be a fantastic day for the club, while the stadium is completely sold out, so we should have an audience of millions watching the game around the world.

West Ham are seeking a ninth league 'double' of the season, while a win would take the home side on to 86 points - their largest haul since achieving 88 in season 1992/93.

Big Sam has a few injury issues ahead of the big game, with Nicky Maynard, Joey O'Brien and John Carew all doubts. However, left-back George McCartney is available again after missing three games with a head injury.

Hull have nothing to play for other than prize money for possibly finishing seventh, but rookie manager Nick Barmby will want to end his first season in charge on a positive note.

Barmby is without centre-back Jack Hobbs and full-back Joe Dudgeon, but hopes influential midfielder Robert Koren and Tom Cairney will be fit.
