Jordan Brown could face Manchester United in the Carling Cup fourth round after his loan spell at Aldershot Town was extended.
The left-back has spent the past month with the League Two club and played in their 2-1 third-round defeat of Rochdale on 20 September. That earned a fourth-round visit from United on Tuesday 25 October, with Brown due to stay at the Recreation Ground until the following day.
Brown is one of several Hammers youngsters out on loan. The others are Jordan Spence (Bristol City), Cristian Montano (Notts County), Callum McNaughton (AFC Wimbledon), Robert Hall (Oxford United), Olly Lee (Dagenham & Redbridge), Ahmed Abdulla (Swindon Town) and Frank Nouble (Gillingham).
