A West Ham United XI will travel to Thurrock FC on Tuesday night.
Development squad coach Ian Hendon is hoping to have a strong squad for the 7.45pm kick-off at Ship Lane, Aveley. As well as some players with first-team experience - depending on this weekend's game at Crystal Palace - some of the club's most promising emerging talent like Elliot Lee (pictured) could also be on view at the Essex ground.
West Ham have strong relationships with Thurrock and it is hoped there will be a good turn-out for the 4 October fixture, with tickets at just £5 for concessions and £10 for adults. Accompanied Under-10s will be able to get in free of charge.
Hendon's development squad have been in good form of late, most recently drawing 4-4 with Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday, when Brian Montenegro scored his first goal since joining the club. Those involved this time will all be hoping to impress Sam Allardyce before the npower Championship resumes with the visit of Blackpool on Saturday 15 October.
