West Ham United kept up their good form with a hard-fought 1-0 home win against Peterborough United on Saturday.
The Hammers had Mark Noble's eleventh-minute penalty, after Henri Lansbury had been fouled, to thank for securing the three points at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday. It meant the Sam Allardyce's men made it seven matches unbeaten and can look to Tuesday's visit of Ipswich Town in full confidence.
After the seven-goal thriller of the previous home match against Portsmouth, it was a much cagier affair this time around. Peterborough improved after the break and Robert Green, with Winston Reid and Abdoulaye Faye imperious in front of him, had to be at his best on a number of occasions.
