West Ham United Ladies built on their fine win last week at Portsmouth with a 3-0 defeat of London rivals Queens Park Rangers.
Jess Barling (pictured) opened the scoring after just two minutes. Under a blazing sun, Becky Merritt shone five minutes after half-time to double West Ham's advantage before 17-year-old Swedish substitute Elin Hein made the game safe a minute from full time.
After the comprehensive victory at Thurrock, the Hammers will head across the Thames in good confidence. They travel to Gillingham next Sunday looking to replicate the fine display they put on in winning 2-1 at Portsmouth in their previous away outing.
