West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce is more than familiar with today's opponents Coventry City - having played for the Midlands club under the guidance of former Hammers favourite Bobby Gould.
Big Sam played 28 league matches for Coventry in the 1983/84 season and Gould told West Ham TV that the defender was always going to become a successful manager in the English game because of his professionalism and will to win.
"He was a great pro and he was a battler," recalled Gould. "You wouldn't want to play him. He has done really well. You have to develop a football club, it has to create a culture and he is doing that."
Log on to West Ham TV now to catch an exclusive interview with Gould, as well as Guy Demel on returning to fitness, Big Sam's press conference, all the latest Under-18 and development squad highlights from the week, David Gold on the travelling fans and much, much more.
