Hull might have thrown men forward in the dying stages, but they found Robert Green in inspired form. All in all, that is a superb afternoon for the Hammers, who record their fifth away win in eight matches and strengthen their second position in the npower Championship. Join us again at Coventry City in a fortnight, but don't forget to log on to West Ham TV for exclusive highlights and post-match reaction.
93 mins - Green again! The goalkeeper acrobatically tips over a dipping volley from Evans. The corner is taken by Brady but is again too deep. The final whistle is blown!
92 mins - West Ham have a break and Noble finds Piquionne inside the box. He tries to cross for Nolan, but the effort is blocked, hits the Frenchman and goes behind for a goal kick.
91 mins - Green again, making a one-handed save to keep out Hobbs' header. Another corner, and again Cole heads clear at the near post.
91 mins - The home fans have seen enough, with the away supporters responding with 'Is there a fire drill?'.
90 mins - Green makes a stupendous save to deny Fryatt. The striker was clean through ten yards out with the goal at his mercy, but the goalkeeper makes a world-class stop to divert the ball over the top. Cole heads the corner clear. We'll have three more minutes, at least.
89 mins - Southampton will win. They're 4-2 up at Coventry. Here, Faye makes a well-timed block to deny Fryatt in a one-on-one situation inside the box.
88 mins - Baldock is replaced by Piquionne. The crowd respond with a tune of 'Super Sammy Baldock'. He's quickly becoming a real favourite in the East End, is the No7.
87 mins - Brady again, curling a delicious ball in that eludes everyone and bounces out for a goal kick.
86 mins - Tomkins is booked for a high challenge. Hull have a free-kick about 25 yards out in a shooting position. Brady shoots and hits the wall. The ball comes back over and Rosenior heads wide from 12 yards.
84 mins - Brady is involved again as he cuts inside on to his left foot but his shot rises and flies way past the far post and into the stand.
83 mins - Brady gets goalside of McCartney and crosses but Tomkins is there to dive and head clear for a throw. There are 21,756 fans here today, including 2,591 Hammers. Sears is on for Diop.
82 mins - Sears is ready to come on at the next break in play. Before then, Evans gets a yard of space before shooting left-footed, but it's a routine save for Green low down in front of him.
80 mins - Controversy as Rosenior throws the ball to Mclean, who takes on McCartney. The Northern Irishman wins the ball back and is fouled. A few claret and blue shirts remonstrate with Hull No2.
78 mins - Diop is down on the turf but West Ham play on. The cross comes over and Baldock wins it, but Hull clear. The Tigers attack with West Ham down to ten men, but Nolan gets an important foot in and McCartney belts the ball into the stand.
78 mins - Southampton have retaken the lead at the Ricoh Arena through Guly Do Prado.
76 mins - Dudgeon gets forward well from left-back and is in behind Faubert if the pass is right, but it's not and it flies harmlessly behind for a goal kick.
74 mins - Loving your work Rob Green! Rosenior collects a pass wide right from Brady and crosses. Faye's header goes straight up into the air and Green comes to punch. He makes a slight meal of it but the ball simply loops up and is an easy catch for the No1.
72 mins - Faubert gets a clap from both Big Sam and the away fans as he stays strong to shield the ball out under pressure from Fryatt. The fans respond with a chorus of 'Julien, Julien, Julien'.
70 mins - Cole is caught offside as Coventry equalise against Southampton.
68 mins - Hull are throwing numbers forward to try to get back in this game. Rosenior loses Collison and crosses. the ball breaks to a Tigers shirt, but Tomkins makes a brave block on the edge of the box.
66 mins - That's Sam Baldock's eleventh goal in 14 games this season for West Ham and previous club MK Dons. Elsewhere, Coventry have got one back against Southampton, Blackpool, Bristol City and Portsmouth are all a goal to the good and Peterborough have equalised against Derby.
64 mins - Hull are a good team and won't take this lying down. Mclean shoots and Green parries before Tomkins ushers the ball behind for another corner. Brady takes again but it's way too long and goes out for a throw on the far side.
63 mins - Brady takes the corner left-footed and the header is won by a Hull player. The ball bounces past Green but Noble is on the line to block. As luck would have hit, the ball bounces straight into the arms of the goalkeeper!
62 mins - Brady is a real livewire and has quick feet. He is involved straight away and wins a corner.
61 mins - Hull make their first change, with Irish U19 international winger Robbie Brady on for Adebola.
60 mins - Hull threaten as Mclean controls on the edge of the penalty area. Diop forces him to pass backwards to Evans, who screws his shot miles wide.
59 mins - That was superb football from Big Sam's team. If Barcelona had scored that goal, every pundit would have been purring.
57 mins - GOAL! COLLISON! That is a fantastic team goal. Cole forces a loose pass from a Hull player and West Ham break through Noble. He finds Cole, who steps inside a defender before threading a perfect pass through for Collison, who steadies himself before planting a shot confidently past Gulacsi.
56 mins - To be fair to the Hammers, they have been well on top since the break and have stifled every Hull attack so far. Faye steps in again and boots the ball well clear and Gulacsi has to concede a throw.
53 mins - Another half-chance as Cole gets goal side but Baldock and Nolan are just too far behind play and Cole has to check. Eventually Noble works the ball to Collison and Nolan cuts his cross back into the centre, but there is no West Ham player there to finish.
52 mins - Cole is involved everywhere at present. Gulacsi's clearance is controlled on the chest by the No9. The Hungarian is well out of position but Cole cannot direct his volley on target from fully 45 yards.
52 mins - Noble wins the ball on halfway and tries to curl a ball through for Baldock, but it's just too strong and Gulacsi slides out on the wet turf to collect.
50 mins - West Ham are like a team transformed as Cole gets forward and wins another corner. Can West Ham repeat the trick? No, as Noble's near-post delivery is cleared.
49 mins - GOAL! Noble's right-wing corner is flicked on by Cole and Baldock is there at the far post to slam the ball into the roof of the net.
48 mins - Much better from the Hammers as Baldock escapes into space and wins a corner.
47 mins - Noble's free-kick is headed clear and Collison wins a throw. The cross comes over for a third time, but Tomkins' header lands on the top of the net.
46 mins - Cole is involved straight away as the visitors kick-off shooting towards their own fans behind the goal to my left. McCartney gets forward well and wins a free-kick.
A half-time change from Big Sam, who replaces Carew with Carlton Cole for the second 45 minutes. The No9 is welcomed by a loud cheer from the travelling Hammers.
45 mins - Carew gives the ball away cheaply in midfield and Hull are in through Koren. He shoots and Green makes an outstanding save. The ball loops goalwards and Faye gets back in time to clear from inside the six-yard box.
43 mins - Nolan gets goalside but doesn't have the pace to get away from the Hull back four. He wins a throw, though, that is worked to McCartney. His cross is just behind Carew, but the Norwegian arcs his neck and heads the ball wide.
42 mins - A crossfield pass finds Rosenior in space. He feeds Mclean and the ball is worked to Adebola inside the penalty area. He shapes to shoot and lets fly left-footed, but Faye makes a thunderous block that flies out for a throw.
41 mins - Doncaster are now 3-0 up at Ipswich, while Southampton have doubled their lead at Coventry. McCartney crosses from deep but Carew is beaten in the air by Chester at the far post.
39 mins - Another decent opportunity goes begging as Baldock benefits from Rosenior's slip. He pulls the ball back to Nolan, who elects to pass rather than shoot. Carew does likewise before Collison is crowded out.
37 mins - Derby are now 2-0 up, while leaders Southampton are a goal to the good at Coventry. Here, West Ham could easily be ahead as Faubert is in acres again. He curls a cross to the far post but Nolan can't keep his header down.
34 mins - Derby County have joined the fun, going 1-0 up at Peterborough.
33 mins - Rosenior beats Baldock to the byline with a neat trick but his cross curls behind before Adebola can head it back into the danger zone. Mclean heads goalwards anyway and Green catches.
32 mins - Baldock gets forward and wins a corner. Noble takes it but the ball is too far from goal for Tomkins to get real purchase on his header, which floats wide.
31 mins - Doncaster are the only team in the npower Championship to have scored so far today. They are 2-0 up at Ipswich Town.
29 mins - The deep corner is won by a Hull head but Diop and then Nolan are there complete the clearance.
28 mins - Green is called into action again, plunging to his right to palm Koren's low drive around the post. Corner. Hull's third...
26 mins - Noble somehow gets through two challenges before hooking a cross superbly into the path of Nolan. He heads down but the ball is agonisingly ahead of Carew, who is beaten to it by Gulacsi. Nolan thinks Carew was impeded as he tried to finish that, but the referee is not interested.
24 mins - Carew controls on his chest before Baldock releases the overlapping McCartney. He has players to pick out, but his cross is low and easily cut out by McKenna.
24 mins - Another through ball bounces behind and Green goes to the edge of his box to urge his team-mates to play further up the pitch.
23 mins - After a big build-up and silence falling over the KC Stadium, Koren curls his shot around the wall and safely into the midriff of Green.
21 mins - What did I say about Adebola? He collects a pass in space on the edge of the penalty area and spins and shoots in one motion. Thankfully, Tomkins slides across and diverts the ball JUST wide of the far post. Koren's corner eludes everyone and goes through Faubert's legs. Hull win it back on halfway and Noble barges into Evans. Free-kick 25 yards out in a very dangerous position.
19 mins - Another half-chance involving Faubert as the right-back gets forward well again. He collects a pass from Collison and sends the cross high to the far post. Carew heads down but a defender gets in ahead of Noble to clear from around the penalty spot.
19 mins - Potts, Cole and Piquionne are sent out for a trot along the touchline. Young Potts applauds the away fans. Big day for the young man.
18 mins - Adebola is a right handful. He scored against the Hammers for Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup last season and is a real physical presence. Tomkins and Faye will have to stand strong against the Nigerian.
16 mins - A sixth of the way through the game and there have been precisely zero goals in the eight 3pm kick-offs in the npower Championship. They say this league is unpredictable...
13 mins - Hull counter, but a cross from Fryatt takes a slight deflection and Green dives to his left to collect low down. Moments later, it is Mclean in space on the right side of the box. He crosses and Fryatt directs his header goalwards, but it's straight at Green. Lively game now.
12 mins - West Ham's best attack. Diop breaks up a Hull foray and finds Baldock. He waits for the overlapping McCartney. He checks and the ball is worked back to Noble. He finds the flying Faubert down the right in acres of space. His cross is well-struck but hits a defender and Baldock before behind cleared from inside the six-yard box.
10 mins - A quick Green clearance bounces over Rosenior to Carew. The Norwegian tries to run the right-back, but Rosenior is quick and slides in to concede a throw. The Hammers keep up the pressure for a while until Tomkins lofts a pass over Carew and into the arms of Gulacsi.
8 mins - Kevin Nolan picks up his fourth booking of the season following a challenge on the far side of the pitch. The free-kick is curled over by Rosenior, but the ball is headed harmlessly through to Green.
7 mins - West Ham's first chance as Noble sends Collison away down the inside-right channel. He has Carew and Baldock inside the box but his cross is headed inadvertantly into the arms of Gulacsi by centre-back Hobbs.
5 mins - The corner comes over and Tomkins wins it. His header falls to an orange shirt and Tomkins is forced to head clear for a second time. A third cross comes in from Koren and it hits two sets of legs before the ball is stabbed clear to Noble. He is fouled and West Ham finally have a chance to clear their lines.
4 mins - Formation-wise, it's 4-3-3 for both teams. Adebola is leading the line for Hull, with Mclean and Fryatt supporting. It is Koren who is in control though and his ferocious shot is turned aside by Green. West Ham cannot clear and Adebola wins a corner off McCartney.
2 mins - A loose touch by Tomkins gifts possession to Mclean. He controls but his through ball for Adebola is overhit and Green can collect near to the byline. A cautious start from both sides.
1 min - West Ham come forward from Green's long ball forward and Nolan makes a nuisance of himself, but the ball won't drop to Baldock and the Tigers clear their lines. Faubert collects but his cross is cut out.
3.01pm - After a slight delay, Mclean and Evans get us underway. Hull show first, but a hopeful ball forward is headed safely back to Green by Faye.
3pm - The minute's silence is immaculately observed by both sets of fans. Hull will kick-off shooting from right to left...
2.58pm - The matchball is being delivered by a serviceman from HMS Iron Duke and some colleagues from the Armed Forces with wreaths from both clubs. The trio are applauded as they march out on to the playing surface.
2.56pm - We're going to have a minute's silence before kick-off in memory of all the servicemen and women who have died in combat since World War One.
2.55pm - The away fans are making plenty of noise in the stand to my left. This must be the highest Press Box in the country, surely! The view over the stand opposite and over the Hull skyline is very impressive. Here come the two teams...
2.50pm - The teams have headed back into their respective dressing rooms and the Guard of Honour for Remembrance Day is in place at the mouth of the tunnel. Looking around, the KC Stadium is far from full, which is a bit of a surprise.

Welcome to the KC Stadium for this afternoon's big npower Championship fixture between West Ham United and Hull City.
The Hammers will be seeking to continue their outstanding record away from home this season, where they have won four, drawn two and lost just one of their seven matches on the road. A victory would ensure Sam Allardyce's side will remain second in the table and could close the gap on leaders Southampton to two points.
Hull, meanwhile, will be seeking to bounce back after losing for the first time in ten matches at Barnsley on Tuesday evening. The Tigers have won their previous four home league matches.
Should the Hammers win today, they would match the number of league wins (nine) achieved in the whole of the 2010/11 season and surpass the eight recorded in 2009/10. However, West Ham have not won on any of their previous six visits to Hull City dating back to a 1-0 Division Two victory at Boothferry Park on 13 September 1954. John Bond scored the Hammers' goal that afternoon.
Both teams will be supporting the 2011 Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. A wreath will be presented during a pre-match ceremony on the pitch at the KC Stadium. Also, the Hammers will be wearing special shirts embroidered with a poppy motif which will be auctioned at a later date.
The two lineups will be announced at 2pm, with the news announced first on the club's official twitter feed.
