Final score - West Ham United 0-0 Bristol City

94 mins - Bristol City have another corner. Kilkenny beats Nolan with a neat touch and cuts inside before his shot takes a deflection on it's way behind. Last chance. The ball is sliced by Piquionne at the near post and rolls across the face of goal and out for a corner on the near side. Kilkenny takes again the Piquionne volleys into a City player, the ball loops goalwards and Green collects. Before he can clear, the final whistle goes.

93 mins - Oh dear. West Ham work the ball around the edge of the City area before O'Brien finds Diop. He chooses to let fly with his left foot and the ball flies over the top.

92 mins - Tomkins concedes a corner. Surely not? The ball is worked short to the unmarked Bolasie, who cuts on to his left foot and thankfully slices it wide and into the stand.

90 mins - Noble picks the ball up and finds Faubert. He takes a touch and sends the cross into the near post where Noble rises and flicks his header...wide of the near post. Frustrating. We'll have four added minutes, at least.

89 mins - That would not have gone down well. City break with four men. The ball is worked to Bolasie wide on the right of the penalty area. He takes a touch and shoots a yard wide of the far post.

88 mins - City make their final change, bringing on Clarkson for Maynard.

85 mins - Tonight's crowd is 27,980. Mark Noble is voted Man of the Match.

84 mins - Faubert wins another corner. Tomkins wins the initial header but it just won't drop to a claret and blue shirt. The Hammers maintain possession from the clearance, but Diop's long-range shot is wide.

81 mins - City make another change with Wilson coming on for Cisse.

80 mins - Another very decent chance for the hosts as Noble prompts and Piquionne finds Cole inside the box. He turns and has a clear sight of goal but hammers his shot over the top.

78 mins - Bristol City are defending deep, but they're still well organised. Diop brings the ball forward, but his ball finds McCartney offside.

77 mins - First off, Bristol City have a free-kick and it's worked to Kilkenny 25 yards out. He hits his shot well but it's miles too high.

76 mins - Diop is West Ham's last substitute, replacing Sears. I'm not sure how this will work tactically.

75 mins - West Ham have a corner. Cole wins the header but it is volleyed off the line.

74 mins - Elliott brings the ball forward for City, who have had a bit of play in recent minutes. His shot is half-blocked and loops into the hands of Green. West Ham break and Sears has space and is one-on-one with his defender, but his shot is too close to James.

72 mins - Will Big Sam throw on Hall in the closing stages?

68 mins - It's Baldock who is the man to be replaced, with Cole coming on in his place.

67 mins - A quarter of the game to go and the Robins replace Woolford with Yannick Bolasie. Elsewhere Southampton, Leicester and Middlesbrough all hold two-goal advantages. Cole will be on shortly.

65 mins - Unlucky. The corner is headed clear to O'Brien, who finds Noble. He beats one man and crosses, but James punches clear. West Ham keep up the pressure and Piquionne's knockdown lands at Faubert's feet. He connects well, but the ball flies a yard over the top. Argh!

64 mins - Faubert again, curling a cross to the far post for McCartney to attack. The ball is headed behind for a corner. Noble delivers and some head tennis ensues before the ball is scrambled behind again.

62 mins - Piquionne finds Nolan and he is in on goal. He takes a touch before shooting left-footed but it's straight at the legs of James. He shuts them just in time to block the shot. That's a great chance gone begging there.

59 mins - They are dominating this game, are West Ham. Faubert prods the ball to Piquionne outside him. His cross is well-struck, but too high.

58 mins - Tomkins is wide on the left for some reason. He combines with Sears before driving a low ball into the box. It breaks to Nolan, who controls but shoots high and wide.

57 mins - O'Brien overlaps and wins a corner. Noble to take. The corner is floated to the edge of the box and cleared.

56 mins - Faubert is playing with so much confidence at present. He collects a pass from O'Brien before spinning away from his marker and crossing left-footed. Baldock tries to get on the end of it, but the ball curls over his head and past the far post. Unlucky.

54 mins - Bristol City win a corner off McCartney. Nolan wins the initial header before following his own clearance and being fouled on the edge of the box.

53 mins - Noble drives the ball across and Tomkins wins it, but his header is too close to James, who lunges forward to collect low down.

52 mins - Another chance to get some quality into the box as Faubert is fouled wide on the right. Hall and Cole are out warming up.

49 mins - A quick Bristol City counter sees Maynard slip in Woolford. The No11 gets a shot on target but Green gets down well to parry before Faye knocks the ball clear.

48 mins - Nolan goes down 30 yards out under Kilkenny's challenge. Free-kick to West Ham in a central position. Noble lofts the set-piece towards Tomkins but the visitors clear easily.

47 mins - Piquionne does well to meet a fine Faubert cross from the right-back but cannot direct the header on target. West Ham mean business this half.

46 mins - The Hammers break quickly after the restart and Piquionne finds himself with a shooting chance ten yards out to the left of David James' goal. The shot is off target. That was a good chance.

Half-time score - West Ham United 0-0 Bristol City

49 mins - That's half-time. West Ham have moved the ball well and created plenty of chances but it's not happened just yet. No need to panic, though. There is another 45 minutes to find the breakthrough.

47 mins - Brilliant football. Noble wins the ball in midfield and runs forward before waiting for the overlapping Faubert. He gets in behind McGivern and crosses but Piquionne's powerful header is too close to James. Unlucky.

46 mins - We're going to have FOUR extra minutes, at least.

44 mins - Best chance of the half goes begging. Faye comes forward and threads a super ball through to Sears. He can turn inside the box and is all alone. A cutback to Baldock could mean a goal, but instead the cross is too close to a defender and hacked behind. The corner is cleared.

43 mins - West Ham break through Sears, but when he spreads play right to Piquionne, the No30's cross is easily caught by James. He immediately sends Adomah away and the winger shoots from all of 30 yards. The ball skims a yard or two past the angle of near post and crossbar.

42 mins - Leaders Southampton are the only team in the Championship winning so far! They're 2-0 up against Peterborough. Bristol City have a free-kick on halfway that is won by a yellow shirt and drops to Cisse, but his header is straight at Green.

41 mins - Noble's delivery is low and easily cleared at the near post. Disappointing.

41 mins - Baldock is held back only a yard outside the penalty area on the right-hand side. Noble will take. This is dangerous...

39 mins - That's better. Piquionne drops deep again before turning and trying to thread a pass through for O'Brien. McGivern concedes the corner. Noble takes but City clear.

38 mins - Weird! Kilkenny slides a pass through for Maynard that the striker leaves. Green is also content that the ball is going wide and leaves it, but it clips the bottom of the post before rolling behind for a goal kick! Baldock is back on.

37 mins - Baldock is flat on his back just off the pitch being tended to by the doctor. It may be that he's having some stitches put in.

36 mins - Baldock challenges Cisse and goes down clutching his face. I think he has a cut on his forehead. No question of a foul but the City player, but Baldock needs some repairs.

34 mins - West Ham have at least three chances to get a decent cross into the City box, but they don't produce the goods. The visitors break through Maynard and, when the ball breaks left to Woolford, he's in loads of space to the left of the penalty area. However, he shoots first-time and the ball flies miles off-target.

31 mins - Baldock's harrying wins the ball back deep in City territory. He cuts inside before passing left to Nolan. The shot is on, but his low effort cannot beat James.

31 mins - Tomkins is beaten in the air and the ball drops to Maynard. He could choose to pass right to Adomah, but instead shoots. The ball flicks off a defender and safely through to Green.

29 mins - Another chance. O'Brien and Faubert combine before the former crosses deep. Piquionne wins it but his downward header bounces just in front of Baldock and James springs to his left to make an acrobatic catch. That was going in.

28 mins - Piquionne heads powerfully clear at the near post and West Ham break. Baldock holds the ball up before Faubert finds Sears. He tries to pick out the run of Baldock, who may be blocked off by McGivern. Nothing given.

27 mins - Close. Tomkins picks out Sears wide on the left. He cuts on to his right foot and crosses high to the far post. Piquionne wins it, but Fontaine gets back to volley clear from inside his own box. City break and it's Maynard, but his low cross for Adomah is cleared for a corner.

24 mins - Nolan's loose header releases Adomah. He runs at Faye before opening his body up and trying to curl a shot into the top corner. He gets it wrong and the ball flies high and wide into the Bristol City fans behind the goal.

23 mins - A first shot on goal from the visitors through Elliott. The ball had fortunately rebounded out to Adomah, who cut inside before finding the Jamaican. His low shot takes a little deflection off a defender, but it's not enough to wrongfoot Green, who gathers.

21 mins - Piquionne and Faubert have been really lively so far. The two are involved again before O'Brien gets down the right, beats Woolford and left-back McGivern before crossing low, but it's behind Baldock.

20 mins - The pressure is really building on the Robins as first Piquionne misses his kick, then James is forced to concede a throw from McCartney's high looping cross to the far post.

18 mins - West Ham are largely controlling the game so far, with Bristol City seemingly keen to try to soak up the pressure. The approach nearly backfires as the ball breaks to Piquionne, but his first-time shot from 22 yards is blocked.

15 mins - Noble's corner is cleared and when the ball breaks wide right to O'Brien, he concedes a throw as his cross hits a defender and bounces back off the Irishman.

14 mins - Great stuff again as Piquionne and Faubert combine before the latter finds Sears. He takes a touch before curling a shot that beats James and thuds against the outside of the right-hand post. Piquionne follows up and wins a corner.

12 mins - Good football. Piquionne holds the ball up before Faubert comes away and slides a diagonal pass in for Baldock inside the box. He turns and shoots in one motion, but it's blocked behind for a corner. Faubert takes and Faye rises, but it's just too high and his header is cleared by Adomah. West Ham build again, but this time Faye is offside.

11 mins - A crunching tackle by Noble wins back possession in midfield and the ball is worked wide left to McCartney in space. He romps down the touchline and wins a throw. The left-back has been his dependable self all season.

9 mins - Faye is immediately involved, heading clear a dangerous cross from Adomah. Elliott wins the ball back, but Adomah's second effort is a wayward shot that flies out for a throw on the near side.

7 mins - Reid doesn't need the stretcher, but he is gripping his left shoulder as he walks off with the club doctor. The game restarts with Adomah driving the ball back to Green.

6 mins - Initial thoughts are that it is Reid's shoulder that is the problem. I don't think he'll be able to continue as the stretcher team comes on. Abdoulaye Faye is being prepared to replace the Kiwi.

5 mins - No real pattern to the game so far, but both sets of fans are trying to warm up the atmosphere. City are inspired first, with a long free-kick winning them their first corner. The ball is curled into the near post where Reid challenges for it. The Hammers clear, but Reid is down on the turf. Referee Mr Haywood stops play so the physio and doctor can come on.

3 mins - It worked on Saturday and it nearly works again tonight. Green hits the ball long off the turf and the City defence allow it to bounce. Piquionne turns, but it skips off the wet surface through to James.

2 mins - Maynard holds the ball up well before right winger Adomah tries to pick out the run of Woolford coming in off his left flank. O'Brien gets across well to clear for a throw, which comes to nothing.

1 min - A long ball forward from the kick-off and McCartney is fouled as he wins the header. Free-kick. Green hits it long, but City clear.

7.46pm - Bristol City kick-off...

7.44pm - The two teams swap ends. West Ham will attack the Bobby Moore Stand end of the stadium in the first half. David James gets a good reception as he arrives in front of the home fans.

7.42pm - Sure enough, 'Bubbles' starts to play and the two teams emerge from the tunnel led by captains Kevin Nolan and Liam Fontaine.

7.40pm - The two teams are back in their respective dressing rooms, but they'll soon be lining up in the tunnel ahead of kick-off.

Rob Hall warming up ahead of kick-off at the Boleyn Ground

7.30pm - Both sets of players are out on the pitch warming up. Before kick-off we will have a short Remembrance service. The Hammers are supporting the 2011 Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. On Tuesday, representatives from the Royal British Legion will present a wreath which will be taken to next Saturday's npower Championship fixture at Hull City, where a minute's silence will be held to remember the members of the armed forces who have died on duty. Also on Saturday, the Hammers will be wearing special shirts embroidered with a poppy motif which will be auctioned at a later date.

6.57pm - Bristol City are unchanged from their 2-1 victory at Barnsley at the weekend. Indeed, the only change to their 16 sees David Clarkson replace Jon Stead among the substitutes. For the Hammers, 18-year-old Rob Hall is on the bench for the first time, having been recalled from a successful loan spell at League Two club Oxford United.

6.55pm - So, the news is that Big Sam has made three changes to the starting XI that beat Leicester City on Saturday, replacing Abdoulaye Faye, Jack Collison and John Carew with James Tomkins, Freddie Sears and Frederic Piquionne. Carew is nursing a slight knee injury, while Faye is on the bench and Collison is rested after starting West Ham's previous two league matches.

6.50pm - The teams are in -

West Ham United: Green, O'Brien, Reid, Tomkins, McCartney, Faubert, Noble, Nolan, Sears, Piquionne, Baldock
Subs: Kurucz, Faye, Diop, Hall, Cole

Bristol City: James, Skuse, Fontaine, Nyatanga, McGivern, Cisse, Elliott, Kilkenny, Woolford, Adomah, Maynard
Subs: Gerken, Wilson, Bolasie, Clarkson, Pitman

6.30pm - Tonight, the club is honouring the memory of Ron Greenwood, who would have been 90 on 11 November. It is lovely to see all the familiar faces up in the Legends Restaurant tonight - Peter Brabrook, John Bond, Eddie Bovington, Brian Dear and Ronnie Boyce have joined host Phil Parkes for an evening of great stories from the club's glory days. Elsewhere, Martin Peters is hosting in the 66 Club, while 1975 FA Cup final hero Alan Taylor and Keith Robson are also here. Quite a lineup of Hammers greats!

Good evening and welcome to the Boleyn Ground for tonight's npower Championship fixture between West Ham United and Bristol City.

Both teams need victories for very different reasons, with the Hammers seeking three points that could take them top of the table and the Robins looking for a win that could lift them off the bottom.

All the omens point to a home success for Sam Allardyce's side - City have won just twice this season to West Ham's eight victories, just five Bristol City players have scored league goals this season to West Ham's 13, the Hammers are unbeaten in eight matches against the Robins, while tonight's visitors have won just four of the 28 previous fixtures between the two clubs.

Bristol City's poor start to the 2011/12 season has seen them swap managers, with Derek McInnes taking charge of his third fixture tonight since replacing Keith Millen last month. That change was followed by the Robins picking up their second victory in 14 league matches courtesy of a 2-1 win at Barnsley on Saturday.

Team news-wise, Big Sam welcomes back Carlton Cole from a knee problem, while England Under-18 striker Rob Hall is in the matchday squad after being recalled from a successful loan spell at League Two high-fliers Oxford United. Hall's England colleague George Moncur and Paraguay Under-18 striker Brian Montenegro have also travelled with the squad for this evening's game, although it remains to be seen if either will be involved.

George Moncur and Rob Hall are hoping to make their debuts tonight

Should any of the three youngsters get on to the pitch at any stage, he would become West Ham's 834th first-team player.
