Jonjo Heureman has broken the £10,000 barrier already on his incredible walk from Wembley to West Ham United this weekend.
The nine-year-old will arrive at the Boleyn Ground just before kick-off against Liverpool on Sunday lunchtime with mum Donna, dad Gary and sister Megan in tow. He was given a great send-off from the national stadium by club legend Sir Trevor Brooking and Bobby's widow Stephanie Moore.
Jonjo is raising money in memory of his nan Lyn and Bobby Moore, with both having lost their lives to bowel cancer. He spent a day at Chadwell Heath earlier this week, with players and management all wishing him well in his challenge.
The kid from Kent had set himself a £10,000 target for the Bobby Moore Fund but has now passed that mark, before he even reaches Upton Park. Fans are expected to show their support on Sunday, with a special wreath-laying at the World Cup winners' statute before he reaches the stadium.
