West Ham United can confirm that Junior Stanislas has joined fellow npower Championship club Burnley on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old joined the Hammers at the age of ten before making his first-team debut in a goalless Premier League draw with West Bromwich Albion at the Boleyn Ground on 16 March 2009.
Having scored his first goal for the club in a home Premier League win over Middlesbrough in May 2009, Stanislas went on to net twice in a Carling Cup second-round win over Millwall three months later.
Last season, he scored in a 1-1 Premier League draw at Blackburn Rovers before Christmas, only to be ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hernia problem.
Earlier this month, the midfielder marked his final appearance for the club by scoring in the Carling Cup first-round defeat by Aldershot Town.
In total, the Kidbrooke-born player made 47 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions, scoring eight goals.
Stanislas also earned international honours during his time at the Boleyn Ground, appearing for England at U19, U20 and U21 levels.
He becomes the second Academy graduate to join Burnley this month, following Zavon Hines, who linked up with the Clarets on 18 August.
All at West Ham would like to wish Junior well for the future.
