Loanee round-up

West Ham United's band of loanees had a busy weekend at home and abroad.

Pablo Barrera, Jordan Spence, Cristian Montano and Olly Lee were all in action for their respective clubs - with differing results.

Barrera (pictured) made his debut for Spanish club Real Zaragoza after joining the Primera Division side on a season-long loan. However, the Mexican's bow was an unsuccessful one as Zaragoza plunged to a 6-0 home defeat by Real Madrid CF on Sunday evening.

On Saturday, Spence completed the full 90 minutes as Bristol City gained a 1-1 npower Championship draw at Doncaster Rovers. The 21-year-old has been an ever-present starter for the Robins this season, appearing six times so far in league and cup.

Montano was introduced as a 53rd-minute substitute in Notts County's 2-0 League Two defeat at Preston North End. The 19-year-old forward has now made five appearances for The Magpies, including one start, and scored one goal.

Supporters should keep an eye on West Ham TV for an exclusive interview with County manager and former Hammers midfielder Martin Allen in which he lavishes praise on the young Colombian.

Finally, Lee maintained his ever-present League Two record for Dagenham & Redbridge as John Still's side were held to a 1-1 home draw by Torquay United.
