West Ham United have fans have already snapped up more than 4,000 tickets for the Wigan Athletic away match on Sunday 15 May - meaning only around 250 seats remain.
The fixture promises to be pivotal to the club's chances of Barclays Premier League survival, and the Board are keen to reward travelling fans for what has been tremendous away support over the campaign by offering free coach travel.
The offer is open to all fans, but places on the club's official coaches must be booked at the same time as supporters purchase their match tickets. There will be no allocated seating, with the club operating a 'load and go' system to cope with the expected demand.
Manager Avram Grant hailed the club initiative, designed to get as many fans behind the team as possible. "This is a really good thing," he told West Ham TV. The relationship between the club and the supporters is really important. We owe them and we want them to feel good.
"We are doing all we can to stay in the league and it is great the club are helping them like this."
The club was allocated the maximum 4,500 tickets available for the big DW Stadium encounter, with echoes of the memorable trip to Wigan on 28 April 2007 still lingering in the minds of many supporters.
On that day, the club also offered free coach travel and was rewarded with a 3-0 victory that played a major part in the club's 'Great Escape' with seven wins from the last nine games.
The deadline for fans wanting to travel on the free coaches will be 5pm on Thursday 12 May, although any match tickets left unsold at that point will still be available.
Coaches will depart from the Boleyn Ground at 8.30am on Sunday 15 May. For all the latest ticket information, click here.
