West Ham United's opening Barclays Premier Reserve League fixture against Manchester City has been postponed.
The Hammers had been due to take on City at Thurrock FC's Ship Lane stadium on the afternoon of Tuesday 7 September.
However, the fixture has now been rearranged for Tuesday 2 November. Details of the venue and kick-off time will be released in due course.
Alex Dyer's squad will now begin their campaign with a trip to Everton's Finch Farm training ground to face the Toffees on Tuesday 14 September, with kick-off at 2pm.
The Barclays Premier Reserve League has been reshaped for the 2010/11 season, with the 16 competing teams now split into three divisions.
West Ham are in the Southern section alongside Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers, with the Hammers taking on each of their division rivals home and away.
Dyer's squad will also take on the ten teams in the two other divisions - Northern A and Northern B - once each, making for a 20-match season.
The winners of the Southern section will then take on the winners of a play-off between the Northern A and B divisions to determine an overall champion.
Aston Villa have won the Southern section in each of the last three seasons, while Manchester United were crowned overall title winners in 2009/10.
