Charlton take derby honours

Charlton Athletic Under-18s 4-0 West Ham United Under-18s

A young Under-18 side went down 4-0 away to Charlton Athletic on Saturday morning.

Sergio Sanchez captained the side and Callum McNaughton continued his comeback from a knee injury  but otherwise it was a youthful side that lost out at at Sparrows Lane. The Academy have now lost five matches in a row and will hope to pick up before the FA Youth Cup campaign begins in mid-December. Tony Carr's side are next in action at home to Chelsea at Little Heath on Saturday.

* Academy Under-16 defender Leo Chambers has earned a second Victory Shield call up by England and is in the squad to face Northern Ireland at the home of Glentoran FC in Belfast.
