Goals from Danny Purdy and Robert Hall saw West Ham United U18s pick up their third consecutive FA Premier Academy League victory at Portsmouth.
Having defeated Arsenal and Chelsea in their previous two league matches, the Hammers recorded another victory on the south coast.
Republic of Ireland youth international Purdy completed a fine move involving George Moncur and Hall to put West Ham ahead on the half-hour mark.
England U17 striker Hall (pictured) then netted his fourth goal of the season after an hour, converting from the penalty spot after he himself had been fouled.
The Hammers enjoyed much the better of the game on Friday and could have won by a far wider margin had it not been for wayward finishing and dogged defending from the hosts.
West Ham travel to Norwich City next weekend before hosting Aldershot Town at the Boleyn Ground in the FA Youth Cup third round on Tuesday 7 December, kick-off 7pm.
