United tickets on general sale

Tickets for the Carling Cup quarter-final with Manchester United will go on general sale from Wednesday morning.

Once again, the club have slashed ticket prices, with supporters able to see the match on Tuesday 30 November for just £20 for adults and £10 for kids. The Ticket Office has been inundated in recent days during the season ticket, members and cup priority periods - so anyone not wanting to miss out is advised to move fast.

The exclusivity period has passed for season ticket holders to make sure of their seat, meaning any remaining tickets unsold are now available - although season ticket holders can still get an extra fiver off should they choose to purchase.

With less than a fortnight to go, excitement is mounting for a mouth-watering match that will take the winners to just one tie from Wembley and February's showpiece final.

"We know that there is a semi-final place up for grabs and it is great that we have got another home match to look forward to," said Scott Parker. "That is all you can hope for at this stage as any quarter-final is going to be tough.

"The league is the main priority for us but having this good cup is a big bonus and can only help."
