Hammers fans Chic Matthews and Ronnie Johnson had extra reason to enjoy the visit of West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday night.
The local businessmen, who both grew up in the area and are lifelong supporters, were promoting budding singer Roxanne Emery - with her new single Real getting an exclusive first play at the Boleyn Ground.
The boxholders and long-time contributors to the club are entrepreneurs who were taken by the starlet's potential after seeing her sing for the first time.
Chic and Ronnie spotted Roxanne at just her third gig while performing in Notting Hill. Having introduced her to the London-based indie label De Angelis Records, there are high hopes for Roxanne.
Likened to Taylor Swift and Pixie Lott, she has just swapped her job of three years as a high flying trader in the banking industry for the world of music.
Chic, has built up his business for over 40 years in the scrap metal industry and one of his closest friends is former Hammers midfielder Alan Dickens. Ronnie runs a successful London based property development company in the area and rarely misses a game.
Roxanne's debut single Real has been released this week. If you would like to view Roxanne Emery and hear her music, go on to the iTunes link and download the single now.
