Tony's testimonial in pictures

Tony Carr's Testimonial was a great success - as you can see from photos of a night when West Ham United were 5-1 winners against the Academy All-Stars.

That's not all though. WHUTV will have full reaction to come - including from the Hammers new strike force of Gianfranco Zola and Paolo Di Canio as well as highlights of all six goals scored on the night. Keep an eye on whufc.com as well for the thoughts of John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, Liam Ridgewell, Anton Ferdinand, Joe Cole, Frank Lampard, Mark Noble, Cristian Montano and, of course, Tony.

England manager Fabio Capello is another to have offered his support for the Academy Director. "It is a great achievement to work with and develop so many players that have gone to play for their country. I know West Ham has a fantastic tradition for producing international footballers and I am very happy that tonight so many people will celebrate what Tony Carr has done for West Ham and England."

Di Canio was voted man of the match, having featured for both teams while two-goal Montano was among the new faces to watch out for from the Academy production line. At half-time, the fans were treated to a roll of honour of some of Tony's most famous graduates while a special reception was held after the match in the club's Legends Lounge. All in all, it was a fitting night for 'Mr West Ham'.
