Phil Parkes is looking forward to the 1980 FA Cup final team reuniting at the End of Season Gala Dinner on Tuesday 4 May - with high demand for what promises to be a memorable evening.
The goalkeeper was a major part of the Hammers' triumph that day in May 30 years ago, keeping a clean sheet as Arsenal were defeated 1-0 to ensure the trophy went back to east London. Parkes is a regular face at the Boleyn Ground as a matchday host and he cannot wait for the team to be reunited on a special star-studded night for fans and players past and present to enjoy.
"It will be a good knees-up," he said. "I am looking forward to getting together. We still see each other occasionally but it will be nice to see them all again together. The last 30 years have flown by."

It promises to be a special night with The X Factor star Stacey Solomon already booked as part of the night's entertainment, which will also feature an array of player awards including Hammer of the Year, young player of the year and Goal of the Season.
All tables are sold out and proceeds from the Gala Dinner will go to the club's Academy, which produced Parkes' former team-mates and fellow 1980 FA Cup winners Sir Trevor Brooking, Alvin Martin, Frank Lampard, Geoff Pike and Paul Allen.
