The outstanding Scott Parker has been a revelation since joining West Ham United from Newcastle United in the summer of 2007.

Parker's never-say-die attitude and driving midfield play have seen him voted Hammer of the Year for three straight seasons by the club's supporters.

The south London-born player's approach and impressive play have also earned him recognition by England and senior level.

2010/11

Outstanding midfielder who capped a superb individual season by winning his third consecutive Hammer of the Year award...Netted a career-high seven goals in 40 appearances in all competitions, 37 of them starts...Scored the winner in the 1-0 home Carling Cup second-round win over Oxford United on 24 August 2010...Secured West Ham United's first Barclays Premier League point of the season in a 1-1 draw at Stoke City on 18 September 2010...Netted in Barclays Premier League fixtures against Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Wigan Athletic and Liverpool...Scored a late equaliser in the Carling Cup fourth-round win over Stoke City on 27 October 2010...Made his 100th West Ham United appearance in the 2-2 home Barclays Premier League draw with West Bromwich Albion on 10 November 2010...Captained the side on a number of occasions in the absence of the injured Matthew Upson...Voted Players' Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Enjoyed a peerless season in the Premier League, starting 30 matches and appearing in 31 in total…Appeared in two League Cup ties…Scored outstanding goals in Premier League defeat at Chelsea on 13 March 2010 and at home to Wigan Athletic on 24 April 2010…Captained the side at Manchester City on 28 September and again during Matthew Upson's four-game absence at the end of November and start of December…Booked ten times and sent off in the 2-2 home Premier League draw with Arsenal on 25 October 2009…His 25-yard half-volley at Stamford Bridge on 13 March 2010 was voted as the club's Goal of the Season…Voted Players' Player of the Season…Voted Hammer of the Year for the second consecutive season.

2008/09

Made 28 Premier League appearances, all of them starts…Made one League Cup appearance off the substitutes' bench in the 1-0 third-round defeat at Watford on 23 September 2008…Made three FA Cup appearances, all of them starts, at Hartlepool United and in both fifth-round ties against Middlesbrough…Scored one goal in 2-1 Premier League defeat at Bolton Wanderers on 21 February 2009…Booked eight times in all competitions…Season was ended early by a groin strain…Missed the final eight Premier League matches of the season due to injury…Voted Hammer of the Year for the first time.

2007/08

Joined West Ham United from Newcastle United for £7m on 6 June 2007…Made his West Ham United debut in the 2-0 pre-season friendly win at Dagenham & Redbridge on 14 July 2007…Injured his knee ligaments in training, delaying his first-team debut until the League Cup victory over Plymouth Argyle on 26 September 2007…Suffered a recurrence of the knee ligament injury during his Premier League debut against Arsenal at the Boleyn Ground on 29 September 2007…Ruled out until 1-1 home Premier League draw with Tottenham Hotspur on 25 November 2007…Restricted to 18 Premier League and two League Cup appearances in his first season with West Ham United.
