Jordan Spence celebrated a season of real development and improvement by making his Barclays Premier League debut on the final day of the 2009/10 season.

The tall, composed and versatile defender is comfortable at both centre-back and right-back, combining strong defending with composure in possession and a willingness to bring the ball forward from the back.

Away from West Ham United, Spence has also impressed, representing England at Under-16, U17, U18, U19 and U21 levels.

2011/12
