Hammers back Fund project

West Ham United fans can now support the Bobby Moore Fund by making a donation towards a specific Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research project called FOXFIRE.

Dr Ricky Sharma is leading this clinical trial which could help significantly improve the survival rates for people whose bowel cancer has spread to the liver, something that happens all too often.

Making a donation is simple - just visit the West Ham United Fans giving group that has been set up (details below). You can also leave a message and even upload pictures and videos.

West Ham United captain Matthew Upson, who is set to follow in Bobby's footsteps by appearing at the FIFA World Cup finals for England on Wednesday, said: "The relationship between West Ham and the Bobby Moore Fund is one that I'm proud to be a part of. Bobby was a footballing hero to so many people and it was tragic that he lost his life so young.

"The fantastic work the Bobby Moore Fund do in trying to tackle bowel cancer is something we should all support so, West Ham fans, please get behind this project."

If everyone who reads this donates just £1, we could raise more than £30,000 towards funding vital bowel cancer research.
