Play at the Boleyn Ground

Supporters have got to move fast to secure their place and play at the Boleyn Ground in a team managed by a West Ham United great.

Fans can make dreams come true by taking part in 'The Big Match' at the historic home of the Hammers next Wednesday, 9 June.

However, many of the 32 places up for grabs to be part of two squads managed by former West Ham players Steve Potts and Don Hutchison have already been snapped up. More than half of Hutchison's team has already been filled by successful bidders.

Would-be players can bid for a place in either squad, with a proportion of the proceeds being donated to the children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent.

Organised by Football Nights, the successful bidders will change into their kit in the Boleyn Ground dressing rooms before taking to the pitch for a 90-minute match officiated by a Premier League referee.

Squads will comprise of 16 players each, with roll-on roll-off substitutions meaning everyone gets a chance to sample the unique and unforgettable atmosphere.

Following the final whistle, both teams will be presented with medals and have their photos taken, while players will be able to take their kit home with them to keep forever.

Starting places in each team start at £100, with players invited to either bid for their shirt or buy it outright for a preset price.
