Nigel Quashie has joined Coca-Cola Championship side Queens Park Rangers until the end of the season after being released by West Ham United.
The 31-year-old midfielder made eight appearances for West Ham after joining the club from West Bromwich Albion in January 2006.
The Scotland international's Hammers career received a setback when he suffered a broken foot in a Barclays Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur at the Boleyn Ground two months later.
Quashie, who has recently been on loan at League One MK Dons, enjoyed a successful spell at Loftus Road earlier in his career, scoring five goals in 63 appearances for the R's between August 1995 and August 1998.
