West Ham United statement

West Ham United are awaiting receipt of the full findings of an FA Regulatory Commission after being fined as a result of the disturbances following the Carling Cup match with Millwall on 25 August 2009.

The club have been fined £115,000 for provocative behaviour and pitch incursion by supporters on the night. The FA Regulatory Commission decided its penalty after reconvening on Friday morning to hear and consider West Ham's plea in mitigation, having held a three-day hearing last week. The club were previously cleared of allegations of racist behaviour and missile throwing.

The club have 14 days to appeal the finding upon receipt of the Commission's full written reasons.
