West Ham United can put to rest any concerns supporters had about a report in today's press that the club's new kit would feature pink as part of the design.
The Daily Mail carried a story that the club's new kit would be sponsored by Ann Summers and feature a new colour as part of the design. As many - but not all - supporters realised, it was a made-up story in keeping with the 1 April date. After a number of calls and emails, the club is happy to confirm claret and blue - and not pink - will remain the Hammers' colours of choice for the home shirt next season.
