Bidding has begun on eBay for the special Remembrance Day shirts worn by the West Ham United first team.
To pay tribute to the members of the Armed Forces who have fallen in conflict, captain Matthew Upson and the rest of the team wore one-off shirts with a poppy stitched on to the front in the Barclays Premier League match against Everton on Sunday 8 November.
Each player was allocated two shirts for the match. For every player that actually played, their match-worn shirt and spare shirt are being auctioned. Both will be signed. For each player that did not play in the match, both their unworn shirts will be auctioned. Again both will be signed.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to The Royal British Legion. There are 56 shirts available and each are on individual seven-day auctions via eBay. Click here for more information and search for West Ham poppy.
