Carlton Cole has capped a fine month by being voted the unanimous winner of SBOBET Player of the Month for October.
More than 3,000 fans voted in the poll on whufc.com and over 75 per cent of them went for the striker. Alessandro Diamanti was second with ten per cent, with Jack Collison third on nine per cent.
Cole scored a goal in each of West Ham United's three 2-2 draws during October, against Fulham, Arsenal and Sunderland. Those results, alongside Wednesday night's vital victory against Aston Villa, meant the Hammers have lost just once in their last five outings. Cole is still being assessed for the muscle problem he suffered early in the Villa victory.
