Home kit on sale Thursday

West Ham United wore the new home kit for the 2009/10 season for the first time against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, and fans will be able to do likewise when it goes on sale in club stores on Thursday.

The Stadium and Lakeside outlets will both open at 9am, with demand expected for the new kit expected to be high.

The new kit was first modelled by Hollywood star Ray Winstone, former Hammers defender Tony Gale and a number of ordinary supporters. Thousands of fans have followed their lead and already ordered the new kit through the club's online Megastore.

The new shirt uses Umbro's innovative Climate Control technology to enhance the movement of moisture away from the body. The shirt is complimented with a lightweight, durable woven white shorts with claret panels. The cushioned claret and sky blue socks, with pin stripe detail, complete the new kit.

If you cannot make it to either club store to purchase your new kit in person, you can order from the online Megastore here.
