Cristian Montano capped a superb afternoon for the Under-18s by scoring a sensational individual goal in the 3-1 win over Norwich City and you can see all of the highlights on WHUTV now.
Nick Barrett had given Tony Carr's side the lead before Montano added a second with a header from a corner as the Hammers looked on course for a vital FA Premier Academy League victory. However, the Canaries, who had gone into the match in second place in the table, pulled a goal back give themselves a glimmer a hope.
That hope was quickly extinguished, though, as Montano collected the ball straight from kick-off and beat six players before rolling it into the bottom right-hand corner to the astonishment of the Little Heath crowd.
Carr said of the goal: "In the second half they came out and had a little go at us and pulled a goal back to make it 2-1, but Cristian then scored a solo goal straight from our kick-off.
"The ball was touched to him and he literally ran through their whole team to score. It was unbelievable, like Diego Maradona. It was really a terrific goal."
