BM6 range going well

The new merchandise range in honour of the club's most famous captain is now in club stores.

The BM6 range has been produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Bobby Moore's debut for West Ham United and, unsurprisingly, in its first few days in the shops it has proved to be very popular.

The merchandise has been created through close work with Bobby's widow Stephanie Moore, who was part of the original development meeting. Every item comes with original BM6 branding that includes a filmstrip of iconic images of Bobby during his playing days and information on bowel cancer - the illness that took away one of the shining lights in world football at just 51.

Crucially every item has been produced in conjunction with the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK and ten per cent of the proceeds of each product sold goes straight to the charity to help fund research and action to promote awareness of bowel cancer - meaning more lives can be saved in memory of the famous No6.

The BM6 range has three limited edition products - a jacket, T-shirt and exclusive box set - of which just 554 will be produced, one for every time he played for West Ham United. These three products are uniquely numbered between 1-544 and once they are gone no more will be produced, so those wanting a piece of history need to move quickly.

The jewel in the crown of the BM6 limited edition range is a box set which includes an exact replica of the first shirt Bobby Moore ever wore for West Ham United in 1958. The original shirt was taken out of the museum where technicians measured it to ensure the replica was identical. The luxury presentation box also contains a certificate and DVD to mark the 50th anniversary of Bobby's debut for West Ham United and features people who played with him including Sir Geoff Hurst, Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best and Pele. His wife Stephanie Moore also reflects on the private man who shunned the limelight and refused to give in during his final battle against cancer.

Other products are available as part of the BM6 range including fleece tops, T-shirts, polo shirts and jackets. They are all cotton rich products with unique BM6 branding and labels.

The range has been priced so it is affordable for everyone. Prices start from just £13 for T-shirts, with the products in stock at the Lakeside and Stadium stores now.
