Father's Day is almost upon as and West Ham United will be marking the occasion with a number of special promotions along with a Community event at Lakeside.
As well as a range of gift ideas in store available now that are perfect for youngsters looking to spend their hard-earned pocket money, the West Ham United in the Community department will have a stand outside the club shop throughout Father's Day. With dads everywhere taking the spotlight, the club will be helping to raise awareness of National Men's Health Week, a cause being backed by the Lakeside Shopping Centre who are also using the event to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Charity.
Anyone coming along to the Community stand between 9.30am and 5pm this Father's Day on Sunday 15 June will be able to take part in a mini assault/skills course to test themselves and also get a 'before and after' heart rate check. Those taking part can also pick up a voucher that will entitle them to a free Umbro waterbottle with all purchases in the club shop over £20. In store, there will also be a 'Dad's goody bag' available for just £10 - containing a West Ham United mug, tie and Umbro wallet.
The goody bags are also available at the Stadium shop while visitors to either branch can also take advantage of a number of special offers on gift ideas including key rings, pens and wallets - with up to 30 per cent off some items.
