West Ham United in the Community are looking to recruit young people aged between 18 and 24 from Newham and Tower Hamlets to join our new scholarship trainee and mentoring scheme.
The initiative, open to men and women, is to enable young people from Newham and Tower Hamlets to gain access into a formal coaching scholarship based at two main inner city complexes in Beckton and Mile End. The scholars would graduate through three progressive stages of structured learning in a supportive environment.
Those involved would also taking part in syllabus work at their respective campuses and form supported team teaching units which would deliver sessions on site at Beckton and Mile End, under the structured supervision of their site mentors.
